Mr. Capalot, or Polo Capalot as he is sometimes called within Chicago Illinois started to gain attention once he released songs on YouTube. In the beginning, he released songs like the Come Up and NEVER CARED. After that, with his mixed tape "OFFICIAL POLO.G SUNDCLOUD" was his SoundCloud debut. Gang With Me, his debut single was followed by the hit song Finer things. The track was recorded in prison. It became the single that made him famous and gained millions of views on YouTube which brought him into the limelight. Then major record labels began showing interest in him. Pop Out, featuring Lil Tjay, was finally released after the rapper had signed the Columbia Records distribution agreement.
